Justice Khawaja Imtiaz on Wednesday refused to hear a petition seeking  disqualification of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif, saying he could not hear the petition as he had earlier given a decision in favour of the Sharif family in a loan default  case. He sent a circular to LHC Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial for referring the petition to another bench. The petition was filed before an Election Tribunal in Lahore seeking disqualification of Nawaz Sharif for discrepancies and concealment of assets and income statements.
