Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi has summoned Pervez Musharraf in Benazir Bhutto assassination case and adjourned the hearing until April 13.
Judge Chaudhry Habibur Rehman of ATC Rawalpindi heard the Benazir murder case on Monday.
FIA on the other hand has challenged fresh hearing of this case in the Lahore High Court Rawalpindi bench.
In the application filed by FIA Prosecutor Chaudhry Zulfiqar, it was said that the trial of Musharraf should not be conducted separately.
“As over 30 evidences have been recorded in the case, the hearing of the case afresh would affect the proceedings,” the applicant said.
I hope this serves as a notice to all future Generals who may be thinking of adventurism. Kill "ALL" your enemies during the coup. Its justifiable and it will save you a lot of trouble later.
