LAHORE – Students of Kinnaird College found a 35-years-old unidentified woman dead under mysterious circumstances in front of the college’s Gate Number in the early hours of Wednesday. The identity of the deceased has yet to be ascertained. As per details, a woman was lying in front of the Kinnaird college gate number 4 when the students of the college spotted the body and informed the college Administration, who later called police and informed about the body.
Fear was triggered in the students of Kinnaird college following the bodies recovery. Police after reaching the spot found the body was stiff and decomposed. Police officials speculated that the woman was suffocated to death. They said the truth of the matter would be unveiled once the autopsy was completed. They added that the body was was stiff due to the cold. The body was shifted to the morgue for autopsy.
Suicide: A 54-year-old woman and mother of four committed suicide in the jurisdiction of the Sattukatla police station late Tuesday night. The deceased was identified as the Hameeda bibi, a Satukatla suburb resident. As per details, Hameeda Bibi swallowed poisonous pills and became unconscious. She was taken to Jinnah hospital where her death was pronounced upon arrival. The deceased’s son Mehboob told police that her mother was disturbed due to the financial crisis. She was a heart patient and could not afford proper medication due to the shortage of the money. The husband of the deceased was a watchman in the local area. Later police shifted the body to the morgue for an autopsy.
Hit by train: A man died after being hit by the train in the precincts of the Naseerabad police station here on Wednesday. The deceased was identified as Muhammad Abbas, 27-years-old, a truck driver and a resident of the Sargodha. On the day of the incident, abbas took a stop near the railway lines adjacent to the 7up-factoy to attend the call of the nature. As he was sitting there, train coming on the track hits him. He somehow managed to escape from the lines but he failed and ran over by the train and died on the spot. Police after reaching the spot took the body and the deceased truck in their custody. Later after the autopsy the body was sent to his native village at Sargodha.
Accident: Two people including a woman lost their life when their speedy driven car hits with the trolley parked on the main road in the precincts of Hanjarwal in the late night hours of the Tuesday. The deceased were identified as the employers of the Intelligence agency namely Waqar Ahmad and Samina. The incident took place when they were crossing the underpass near the Doctors Hospital as there car hit a tractor-trolley parked on the main road.
Resultantly the whole car destroyed completely and both of the passengers died on the spot. However the driver of the car managed to escape from the scene along with his tractor-trolley. DSP Shoaib Ahmad and SHO Hanjerwal reached at the spot and shifted the bodies in the morgue through rescue 1122 and started probing in to the matter. According to the police investigators both were in-service employees with some intelligence agency. The deceased Waqar was the resident of the P-block model town and the Samina was a resident of the Sabzazaar. Police have registered a case against the unknown trolley driver and started a probe.
Separately, a man who was run over by the speedily driven car in the jurisdiction of the Nishtar colony succumbed to his injures in the General Hospital. The deceased was identified as the Muhammad Ahmad. Police have handed over the body to heirs after the regular procedures.
