The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday summoned 24 former parliamentarians to the commission on April 5.
According to the ECP, they have summoned the fake degree holders after directives from the Supreme Court to inform the court in the next hearing on what basis the fake degree cases were closed and resolve the issue.
The former parliamentarians summoned to Election Commission include, Umar Gorgaij, Shumaila Rana, Samina Khawar, Wasim Afzal Gondal, Seemal Kamran, Gul Muhammad Lot, Nawabzada Tariq Magsi, Saeed Ameer Ali Shah, Ghulam Sarwar Siyal, Dr Israr Hussain, Mukesh Kumar, Pitambar Sehwani, Shujaat Ahmed, Nadir Magsi, Rehan Yahya Baloch and Israr Ullah Zehri.
