The Sindh caretaker cabinet has given approval for the recruitment of 8,000 personnel in the police department as well as the security plan that will be implemented during the forthcoming general elections.
Speaking to media persons on Monday, Information and Archives Secretary Noor Muhammad Leghari said that it was also decided that all the illegal migrants would be confined to their respective areas in the province.
The measures were taken during the first meeting of the caretaker cabinet chaired by caretaker Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Zahid Qurban Alvi at the Sindh Secretariat.
The caretaker CM was also briefed about government affairs and development projects during the meeting.
