Orangi Pilot Project Director Parveen Rehman’s killer has been identified through a pistol’s forensic report.
SSP (West) Asif Ajaz informed in a media briefing on Friday that a banned outfit’s activist, Qari Bilal, was involved in the murder of Parveen Rehman.
Few days ago, Qari Bilal was killed during a police encounter in Manghopir area. After his death a pistol was seized from his custody at the encounter site. The forensic report of the bullet shells, found at Parveen Rehman’s murder side, matched with marks on the pistol of Qari Bilal, he added.
After matching the forensic report of the bullet shells and pistol, the police have declared that Parveen Rehman was killed by Qari Bilal.
