Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) President Talal Akbar Bugti on Friday demanded a change of the governor of Balochistan to ensure fair and transparent elections.
Talking to reporters after meeting Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Secretary Ishtiaq Ahmad Khan at the ECP office in Quetta, Talal Akbar Bugti said that elections would be meaningless in Dera Bugti till the return and repatriation of Bugti refugees.
Talking on the occasion, Ishtiak Ahmad Khan called Jamhoori Watan Party’s decision to take part in the elections a big breakthrough.
Furthermore, he said that all suggestions made by Talal Akbar Bugti would be discussed in detail.
