The Lahore High Court (LHC) has disposed of President Asif Ali Zardari’s dual offices case after Federation’s lawyer apprised that there is no political activity going on in the Presidency.
Earlier the counsel for the Federation Waseem Sajjad informed the 5-member bench of the court headed by Chief Justice Omar Ata Bandial that President Asif Ali Zardari has abandoned the office of co-chairperson of the party.
He also informed that no political activity is going on in the Aiwan-e-Sadr now.
Waseem Sajjad assured that the President will remain neutral and the Presidency will not be used for any political activity.
The LHC Chief Justice said it encouraging that President had abided by the Court’s decision and disposed of the case.
The Chief Justice said that relinquishing the office of the co-chairperson of the party by the President has established supremacy of the law and constitution.

Nawaz Sharif is the most corrupt politician in Pakistan. He looted national money in Cooperative scandal, motorway scandal, Privatization, MCB and his PMLN was founded on corruption. PMLN is sunk in corruption with its head sunk in corruption. In 1985 PML was founded after partyless election by ZiaUlHaq with billions of fund distributed among MNAs who then formed PML.
I wish law had the same freedom when zardari was president. it shows even Judicial system couldn't render fair justice when PPP and PMLN was in power. Shameful act by all these corrupt parties. Only PTI will provide total independence to Judiciary to make fair and correct judgment against all. LAW of the land should be same for all regardless who they are
