A Haiku mushaira will be organised at the Arts Council of Pakistan here on 30th March.
An announcement made here on Thursday said that the event would be held under the auspices of the Pakistan Japan Cultural Association, Sindh and the Japan Cultural Centre of the Consulate General of Japan in the metropolitan.
Haiku is a form of Japanese poetry that consists of only three lines and includes 17 syllables. The poetry gained popularity in Pakistan after it was introduced here in 1983 and the mushaira had been held consistently till date.
