A state-of-the-art intensive care unit (ICU) funded by hefty charity money amounting to Rs 5 crore has become functional at Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) recently.
PIC Surgery Department Head Prof Abdul Waheed said on Wednesday that the unit had been equipped with all the latest facilities and had been named Ali Block after the generous philanthropist who donated for the construction of this life saving facility.
