The Cabinet Division has regretted to appoint Rehman Malik as the president’s adviser, according to a private TV channel on Wednesday.
The Presidency had proposed the Cabinet Division to appoint former interior minister Rehman Malik as President Asif Zardari’s adviser on interior and foreign affairs.
According to the channel, the Cabinet Division had refused to appoint Malik as there was no provision in the law to appoint any person as the president’s adviser on interior and foreign affairs.
