PTI announces manifesto for disabled persons

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Monday announced his party’s manifesto for disabled persons and promised a two percent job quota for special people if PTI came to power.
Addressing a ceremony held to announce the PTI manifesto for disabled persons, Khan criticised Fazlur Rehman for making an electoral alliance with Nawaz Sharif after failed attempts with the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
He also accused the federal and Punjab governments of purchasing loyalties of politicians.
The PTI chairman congratulated his party office bearers for introducing a party manifesto for disabled persons and said no one could be a complete human being unless he supported suppressed people.
It is unfortunate, said Khan that despite being an Islamic country and a welfare state, there is nothing concrete in the country’s constitution for disabled persons. He promised that after coming to power, PTI would ensure facilities and quotas for disabled persons.
He vowed that the PTI would bring about a revolution on March 23 in Lahore. On that day the youth and its enthusiasm will defeat corruption forever, said Khan.
Dr Israr Shah, addressing the ceremony, said when he contacted the constitutional reforms committee over inclusion of some provisions for disabled persons, both major political parties refused to do so.
Earlier, PTI disabled persons’ wing President Anum Naqvi announced the party’s manifesto for disabled people and announced PTI’s plans for this specific stratum of society.
