Police recovered dead bodies of two women from Jaffarabad, some 400 km south-east of Quetta on Sunday.
Police officials said some pedestrians spotted the bodies in bushes at the Goth Fida Hussain area. Police rushed to the site and shifted the bodies to a hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Police said the deceased were identified as Shahnaz and Sulma who were strangled to death by unidentified people.
Police further said the deceased were mother and daughter. The motive behind the murders however, could not be ascertained.
Police have registered a case and started investigation.
