Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday claimed that the repair work of 50 houses set on fire by an angry mob in Joseph Colony had been completed while others would be renovated within a week.
Speaking at a high-level meeting at the Chief Minister House to review the issues about Badami Bagh occurrence, Shahbaz also claimed that renovation of two churches had also been completed.
He further said that the accused involved in the torching of houses of the Christian community at Joseph Colony would not be spared at any cost and exemplary punishment would be awarded to them.
The Punjab chief minister also said that culprits involved in the incident would be brought to book and victims would be provided justice.
