Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Syed Ishtiaq Shah on Friday issued show cause notices against 43 wardens for misconduct with the citizens.
According to sources, the citizens complained to the CTO regarding the wardens’ attitude. Taking notice of the complaints, the CTO took action against these 43 wardens and issued show cause notices.
The CTO claimed that misconduct and violation of discipline could not be tolerated and several training courses were being organised to aware the wardens of talking politely and avoiding misbehaviour with the public. He said that all wardens should perform their duty with honesty and ensure their presence on their duties.
