In a targeted operation in Urdu Chowk and adjoining areas of Orangi Town here on Wednesday, Rangers personnel detained high-profile target killers among 16 suspects along with arms.
The Rangers launched targeted operations in Urdu Chowk, Faiz-e-Aam Society and adjoining areas in Orangi Town and closed all exit and entry points of the area, sources said. Over 500 Rangers were involved in the operation.
In the house-to-house search operation, the security men detained 16 persons and seized around 25 weapons from their possession.
The arrested men included high-profile target killers, the Rangers sources said. The accused have been transferred to an undisclosed location for interrogation, they added.
