The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued contempt of court notice to Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf for not promoting Patients Welfare Association (PWA) grade 19 officers to grade 20.
The Public Service Commission (PSC) had proposed the PM to promote the PWA’s superintendent engineer to grade 20.
The petitioner’s lawyer said that the PM had committed a contempt of court by not promoting the officer in grade 20. He said the hat trick of the government’s contempt had been completed.
The IHC has also issued notices to the PM’s principal secretary and secretary establishmen
