The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) here on Sunday staged a big protest demo in front of Karachi Press Club (KPC) to condemn the Lahore Badami Bagh tragedy.
MQM central leader Dr Farooq Sattar termed the incident a bid to defame Pakistan. He said these shameful activities were being conducted just to weaken Pakistan. He said his party had always supported the rights of minorities and would continue to do so. He appealed to the chief justice of Pakistan to take suo moto notice of the incident.
Meanwhile, MQM leader Raza Haroon and others also spoke on the occasion while a large number of people participated in the demonstration.
