88 Hindu pilgrims arrive

Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) on Friday received a group of 88 Hindu pilgrims from India.

Speaking on the occasion, leader of the delegation Shiv Pratap Bajaj said that Pakistan and India should improve relations to improve peace and security in the country.

Moreover, he called for a relaxation of visa policy from both countries so that citizens of both nations could benefit from tourism, cricket tournaments and religious pilgrimages.

The Hindu pilgrims will leave for Shivaratri at Katas Raj Temples, Chakwal, on March 9 by road. They will perform their rituals on March 10.

They will return to Lahore from Chakwal on March 11 and would visit Krishna Mandir on March 12.

Moreover, the pilgrims would return to India through the Wagha

Border on March 13.

A member of the delegation, Laxmi Kant Chawala, said that mosques, churches, temples and gurdwaras had been preserved in Pakistan so that people from all faiths could practice their religion freely.
