A large number of people on Friday in Jacobabad staged a rally to protest collection of extortion from the local cattle market.
The protest was staged by Pakistan Peoples Party-Shaheed Bhutto (PPP-SB).
Addressing the rally, Aslam Shah, Nadeem Qureshi and other leaders of PPP-SB said that the cattle market of Jacobabad is amongst the biggest cattle markets of the region; however, some elements are demanding extortion from the cattle traders. They alleged that transporters are also charging enormous fares creating problems for people. They said that the market committee is not implementing rate lists, resulting in overcharging and profiteering.
They demanded action against the extortionists to provide relief to people and traders.
Hope one day PPP-SB worker eleminate the deficeincy in entire Pakisatn. Though they are small and weak now but one day they gonna change this Paksiatn.
