Singh Additional IG CID Ghulam Shabbir Shaikh has been given additional charge of IGP Sindh.
The Sindh government, complying with a Supreme Court’s (SC) order, had removed Inspector General of Police (IGP) Fayyaz Laghari and Deputy Inspector General of Police for East Karachi Aleem Jaffery from their posts on March 6 and their services were placed at the disposal of the federal government.
Additional IG Police (CID) Ghulam Shabbir Shaikh has been given additional charge of IGP Sindh while DIG Admin Imran Yaqoob got additional charge as that of DIG East
