Five engineers reach Pakistan after being released from India

Five Pakistani engineers who had been captured by the Indian authorities were released on Tuesday and reached Karachi from the Indian province Wishaka Patnum.

The engineers were detained there for not having legal documents.

Talking to journalists after landing at Karachi airport, the Pakistanis informed said that they had been mistreated by Indian officials and had not been provided adequate food.

The five engineers included Sohail Shamshad, Muhammad Luqman, Goharur Rehman, Furqan Ali and Javed Mehdi.
