Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has constituted a six-member committee, headed by CID Additional IG, to probe Abbas Town explosion.
The committee was formed in a meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, to review law and order situation.
The sources told that the probe committee would be consisted of senior officers of police and rangers. The committee would present its report to chief minister in three days, they added.
Meanwhile Sindh Governor, Dr Ishratul Ebad said that the provincial government would rebuild the flats and shops destroyed in Abbas town bomb explosion. The governor has directed Karachi Commissioner to supervise the relief activities. He also directed the administration to provide all necessary requirements for the injured.
MQM Chief Altaf Hussain telephoned Ishratul Ebad and directed to utilize all the resources for the medical treatment of the wounded people, to accommodate homeless, to provide food and their rehabilitation.
Meanwhile following the directives of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, the provincial home department offered on Monday Rs.5 million prize to those who would provide any information that could lead to arrest of terrorists involved in Abbas Town carnage of Karachi.
An official handout said the name/names of persons providing information would be kept secret. The information could be given at phone numbers 021-99213410, 99213420, 99212652 and 99212653.
Meanwhile, the home department in another handout said that police and rangers in different actions against banned outfits since last night arrested over 200 suspected persons.
