Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon said that delimitation in Karachi could not be held before the elections. He said new delimitation would be held across the country after the elections.
“Since general elections are approaching fast, redrawing of electoral constituencies should not be carried out in hurry which is even practically not possible without census in Karachi,” Memon said this while talking to the media men here on Sunday.
He claimed that PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif was ineligible to contest elections as he had accepted money from agencies to form Islami Jamhori Ittehad (IJI) to stop Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) from winning the 1990 election.
