Three more killed in violence

Unabated violence continued to claim innocent lives in the provincial metropolis as three more people including a woman were shot dead and several others were injured in different areas of the city on Friday.
According to police and rescue sources, some unknown armed motorcyclists shot a man dead near Nigar Cinema and ran away from the scene after committing the crime.
In Baldia Town locality of the city, unknown gunmen killed a woman. Police said the shooting incident could be the outcome of personal enmity.
A man identified as Mohsin, who was injured in a firing incident at Tariq Road, succumbed to injuries during treatment at hospital.
Meanwhile, firing incidents were reported in Shah Faisal Colony, Mowachh Goth, Nazimabad, North Karachi, Sohrab Goth and other localities of the city during which 12 people were injured. The wounded persons were shifted to various hospitals of concerned hospitals where according to hospital sources condition of some of the injured people was serious.
Meanwhile, police arrested four target killers from different areas of the city as well.
According to police, the killers were involved in more than 30 incidents of targeted killings in the city.
They were arrested from Nazimabad, Gulbahar and Rizvia Society, DIG West Javed Alam Odho told the media.
The killers were identified as Syed Naeem Haider, Syed Hussain Jafferi, Raees Jafferi and Azhar Hussain.
The police told they were involved in sectarian targeted killings.
Odho said the police have arrested 560 criminals during the last 10 days.
