Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Mumtaz Ali Bhutto on Friday said that the rulers need to respect the courts and refrain from violating the constitution of the country.

In an issued statement he said that in the past Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and other prime ministers had always accepted the court verdicts and Zulfikar Ali Bhutto went to the gallows for putting his trust in the courts.

He regretted that the sitting rulers were not respecting the verdicts of the courts.

He said that prevalent lawlessness and corruption are at their zeniths, making it very difficult for citizens to live with peace and security. He claimed that the rulers are prepared for rigging the upcoming elections, adding, that the split between MQM and PPP is the first step towards rigging the polls.

Bhutto said that Sindhis should reject anti-Sindh elements and annul tenure of atrocities and injustices.
