During on-going drive against the criminals, the Karachi police arrested 145 accused during the past 24 hours.
A police statement on Thursday said those who were arrested included 107 absconders and 10 proclaimed offenders.
It said there were 10 encounters of the police with the alleged criminals and six gangs were busted during the said period.
As many as 22 pistols, two mousers, one hand grenade and two mobile phones were recovered from their possession.
The police have registered cases and started investigations.
