Go back to Governor’s House, Altaf asks Ebad

Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Wednesday advised Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad to withdraw his resignation and resume his responsibilities.

Altaf called Ebad from London and asked him to reconsider his resignation in light of requests made by people belonging to the business community, religious scholars and from different walks of life, a statement from the party read.

Matters have been at a head after Ebad departed for Dubai earlier in the week on account of his health, but not before he had sent his resignation to the president. The move came in wake of MQM’s decision last week to quit the coalition government led by the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and sit in the opposition. The PPP said that back channel talks were underway to get the MQM to reverse their decision.

Altaf told Ebad that although he had tendered his resignation voluntarily, there was a persistent demand from members of the business community, religious scholars, and people belonging to different spheres of life that he should be asked to take his resignation back.

The MQM chief further told Ebad that Interior Minister Rehman Malik too had conveyed messages from President Zardari and other government personalities that even though the MQM was free in its political decisions to sit in the opposition, yet Governor Ebad should be asked to continue in the larger interest of Sindh and Pakistan.

  14. Why our leaders go for health check up whenever they resign or lose their job of minister or governor. For example Mr Qadri is going to his homeland called Canada. Mr Mushraff is under constant care either in London or Dubai. Now Mr Ibad is going for check up.
    We do not have capable doctors. There were some left behind who were employed by Punjab health dept. They change d their profession . They started blocking the roads or became professional hunger striker. Finally chief minister had to come and give them orange juice. After that it was all MUK MUKA. They should have called Ch Shujat HUSSAIN in the first place instead of going on hunger strike. I miss those pictures of blocking traffic on the roads and hunger strikers sitting under the tent.

  15. And What exactly has he accomplished to have the job in the first place? MQM is a party of converted hindus who should go back to India where they belong. The coward leader of MQM is hiding in London and the impotent SC will question Dr. Qadri on his dual citizenship but yet say nothing to Altaf Hussain. No wonder the country is so s*c*r*e*w*d. lol.

  20. I do not think that any one in hos. or her mind has appealed or demanded such a ridiculous thing .People are sick and tired of their clinging to power . Accept the bamn resignation of this fool. Why the hell he be kept as the governor. Give at least one good reason. MQM can n't have it both ways. Altaf is a big drama baaz. He should stop this cheating. Gpvernor must be sent packing home, otherwise what is the use of mQM's separation from the government.
    Who the hell they aremaking a fool. The people know their political tactics now, they would not be fooled this time.
    Get rid of the last remanant and vestige of MQWM.

This is as per expectation.MQM cant leave this post before election as through this post they pave way of bogus voting under state security.But I am sure the coming elections for Karachi will be more horrible as this time PPP, ANP and religious organization would take same stance of horror and terror for grabbing political power.
