KASUR – Complete civil, criminal and revenue record, including the power of attorney of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Ghazi Ilm Din Shaheed’s murder case is likely to get destroyed because it has been kept in the basement of Kasur DCO office where there is no proper arrangement of any light and ventilation.
Previously, the district govts have been using different methods to save the record from decay but at the moment the safety of the record is at risk. If the same apathy of the authorities concerned continues, the country will de deprived of the record of the power of attorney of Quaid-e-Azam and Ilm Din Shaheed.
The high-ups should understand the gravity of the situation and should build a new record room to save the precious documents.
