Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon Tuesday lashed out at Punjab chief minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif and accused him of supporting terrorists groups.

While talking to media, the minister said that Sindh was the land of Sufis, adding that the attacks on Shrines and hierarchs would not be tolerated. He alleged that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was backing and funding the militants. “PML-N should stop supporting the militant groups” he asserted.

Sindh Information Minister said that elements who target Hazaras in Quetta, are behind the blasts in Jacobabad and Shikarpur. He said that Punjab chief minister Shahbaz Sharif should close terrorists manufacturing factories.

He held Punjab law minister Rana Sanaullah responsible for providing security and protocol to banned outfits in the province. He warned Shahbaz Sharif that Pakistan people party would launch protest campaign across the country against PML-N for what he alleged as backing and funding militants group. Sherjeel Memon said that “PPP is a party of peace and love and attacks on shrines in Sindh would not be tolerated at any cost”.
