Sindh mourns Dargah Pir Hajan Shah bomb blast

Mournings, strikes and protests were staged in various districts of Sindh on Tuesday against Dargah Pir Hajan Shah Bomb attack.

On Monday, a blast tore through Dargah Pir Hajan Shah Huzoori in Marri village near Shikarpur killing four and injuring 12 others are including Syed Hajan Shah, the Gaddi Nasheen, “a descendant of the saint and custodian of the shrine.

Angry devotees and local residents took to streets and shut the city down. Violent protests broke out in parts of Shikarpur. Hyderabad, Karachi and Larkana also mourned the blast.

Angry demonstrators protested against the incident and resorted to aerial firing in several areas of Hyderabad including Qasimabad and Hussainabad. Situation turned tense in Larkana as well where Rangers and police were deployed to control the situation. Hussaini Party and other religious organizations also held protests and strikes.

The protestors also blocked the national highway and the railway track after the incident. They chanted slogans against the government demanding immediate justice
