President Asif Ali Zardari on Monday administered oath to Justice Anwar Khan Kansi as chief justice of Islamabad High Court (IHC).
The oath-taking ceremony was attended by National Assembly Deputy Speaker Fazal Karim Kundi, Law and Justice Minister Farooq H Naek, Leader of the House in Senate Jehangir Badar, former Senate chairman Wasim Sajjad, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Social Sector Shahnaz Wazir Ali, some federal ministers, parliamentarians, spokesperson to the president, judges of superior judiciary, eminent lawyers and other high ranking senior officials.
