Rawalpindi Police on Monday arrested 20 lawbreakers, including three alleged robbers and two bootleggers, and seized 2430 grams of hashish, 220 grams of heroin, five bottles of liquor, and five 30 bore pistols with nine rounds of ammunition.
According to a police spokesman, Saddar Baroni Police held Sadaf for possessing 1020 grams of hashish, while Civil Lines police detained Abin-e-Zahid and Faisal for possession of hashish. Civil Lines Police arrested Amjad and recovered 110 grams of heroin from his possession. Akash was arrested for the recovery of 110 grams of heroin and Abul Wahab was arrested for possessing three bottles of liquor.
Cantt police apprehended Fawad and Civil Lines Police arrested Khalil who were allegedly under the influence of alcohol. Other accused were arrested for having drugs, liquor and illegal weapons.
Meanwhile, Kotli Sattian police, acting on a tip-off, conducted a raid at bridge Lahtarar and arrested three suspected robbers, Asad, Majid and Gul Nawaz and recovered three 30 bore pistols with 15 rounds of ammunition from their possession.
