In a special meeting of Hameed Nizami Memorial Society held with Pakistan Today Editor Arif Nizami in chair, it was decided that the 50th death anniversary of sub-continent’s renowned journalist Hameed Nizami (late) would be commemorated on March 3.
A press release issued on Sunday read that the venue of the event would be the Aiwan-e-Iqbal. The ceremony will be presided over by Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, while the chief guests will be Punjab Pakistan People’s Party President Manzoor Wattoo and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf central leader Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri.
