Unidentified people on Sunday gunned down a police head constable in the Yakatoot police precincts, police confirmed.
According to details, Farman Khan, a resident of Tauheed Abad, was going for morning prayers when some unidentified assailants raiding a motorcycle opened fire on him. The cop died on the spot.
The police said CID head constable Farman was the bodyguard of SSP (Investigation Wing).
Soon after the firing, residents come out of their houses and called the police. The police reached the crime scene and started a search operation.
