Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan left for London on Friday morning to meet MQM chief Altaf Hussain.
The governor boarded a foreign airline flight and would reach London via Dubai. He didn’t talk to media before departure.
According to reports, Sindh Assembly Speaker Nisar Khoro would be acting governor and is likely to sign 1979 local bodies system.
MQM chief Altaf Hussain summoned the Sindh governor, who also belongs to the party, for an important meeting.
The visit comes amid rapidly changing political situation in Sindh. The PPP government on Thursday repealed the Sindh People’s Local Government Ordinance, drawing strong reaction from the MQM.
