The protest of legal fraternity in Faisalabad for constitution of High Court bench in the city entered second day on Thursday suspending all court proceedings.
A large number of lawyers, including women, from Faisalabad District Bar Association staged sit-in at District Council roundabout on Thursday, chanting slogans and carrying placards and banners in their hands. They called for constitution of High Court bench in Faisalabad.
The protest continues since Wednesday evening when hundreds of lawyers gathered in favor of their demand and ransacked the court premises.
On the other hand, all judges have gone on three-day leave in the wake of violent protests, suspending the court proceedings and leaving the litigants in sufferings.

If the lawyers well educated community in the country show their demands in such a deplorable and agitated manners,then how the country will continue on normal functions in those ways.It is shame-able actions adopted by the lawyers to press the government for fulfilling their demands.The SC must take SUO MOTU ACTIONS against lawyers for damaging the governmental properties and must cancel their licenses with immediate effect,so that in future no one tries to blackmail the government.
