The Union of Small and Medium Enterprises (UNISAME) has welcomed the appointment of Senator Salim Mandviwalla as federal finance minister and felicitated him on his well deserved promotion and appointment.
UNISAME President Zulfikar Thaver said in a statement that Salim Mandviwalla is a well wisher of the SME sector and at the time of finalisation of the investment policy ensured the inclusion of the SMEs and abolished the minimum limit of investment to enable the SMEs to come forward and benefit from the investment policy and set up industries in the Special Economic Zones.
Zulfikar said that Salim Mandviwalla to release funds for the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority during his next three weeks tenure as the finance minister and to ensure sufficient finance for the ongoing projects and regular budget of the authority.
