4 killed, 16 NATO tankers torched

PESHAWAR – Four people were killed and another six injured when suspected militants struck at a NATO oil tankers terminal on the outskirts of Peshawar on Friday.
Around 25 armed men attacked Jamil terminal in Garhi Qamar Din and torched 16 of the 40 tankers parked there. Peshawar Capital Chief Police Officer Liaqat Ali told Pakistan Today that the attacks took place in the wee hours of the morning and investigations were underway.
Meanwhile, senior police official Imtiaz Shah told AFP that the militants shot dead two guards and two drivers who resisted them, he said. Two were identified as Muhammad Arshad and Zakir Hussain. He said another six people including five drivers and one of their assistants were hurt.
