President Zardari summons NA, Senate sessions

President Asif Ali Zardari called the sessions of the Senate and National Assembly (NA) in Islamabad on Monday.
President’s spokesman Farhatullah Babar stated that President Zardari summoned the Senate and NA sessions separately.

The sessions, due to begin at 4pm will be the last of the current assembly following which the installation of a caretaker set-up is expected to be announced.

The President has summoned the National Assembly Session in exercise of powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 54 of the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

This session will be the 50th session of the 5th Parliamentary year of the incumbent National Assembly.

  1. This guy is an embarrassment to the country and the people who voted for him are also responsible for his poor performance.

  2. Pakistan needs leaders not politicians to run the country. Zardari is a very cruel politician who could do anything to be in the power.
