The police arrested six alleged TTP terrorists during targeted search operation and recovered arms from their possession here late on Friday night.
According to details, the police on a tip off conducted search operation against miscreants in Taxlia during which six alleged terrorists stated to be members of banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were apprehended.
The police claimed that the detainees were planning to target sensitive installations but timely action foiled the bid.
Police also recovered hand grenades, explosive material and arms from the arrested suspects.
The arrested terrorists were shifted to some undisclosed location for further investigation.
