LAHORE – A hundred and six golf playing amateurs will tee off at the challenging 18-hole, par 72 Royal Palm golf course in the Meezan Bank Golf Trophy on Saturday, February 26. The participating competitors include over 20 single handicappers, most of them capable of hitting the ball with fearsome rhythmic power.
Some of the competitors who fall in this group are Sardar Murad, Amir Mehmood, Faisal Malik, Shoaib Shams, Tariq Misbah, Mahd Zafar, Hussain Hamid and Asad I.A. Khan. Amongst the double digit handicappers, the field can be narrowed down to ten. The list includes Abdullah Sharif, Taha Mehmood, Haroon Arshed, Tariq Mushtaq, Asad Agha, Dr.Mohsin, Ch Tassaduq and Rizwan Atta of Meezan Bank. These players have more experience and sacrific length for accuracy, which helps them produce decent scores.
