Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif once again postponed his visit to Sind, consequently postponing his meeting with the Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) chief Pir Pagara, for the second time.
National Assembly Opposition Leader Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan contacted Pir Pagara on the phone, informing him that Sharif would visit Karachi on February 23.
Nisar also contacted PML-F Sind General Secretary Imtiaz Shaikh and requested him to postpone the meeting with Sharif.
Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif were initially scheduled to meet Pir Pagara on Thursday, which was later changed to Saturday.
Meanwhile, Imtiaz Shaikh told media personnel that consensus had also been reached with Nawaz Sharif over the formation of a grand alliance in Sind.
The formal announcement of the alliance would be made during Nawaz Sharif’s meeting with Pir Pagara.
