An Afghan national was killed and another injured in firing by Iranian security forces when more than 110 Afghanis were trying to cross into Iran through the Pakistan-Iran border on Friday.
According to details, the Afghan nationals were attempting to enter Iran illegally via the border when security forces intercepted them and opened fire, killing one of them and injuring another.
The remaining Afghanis managed to flee back, leaving the dead and the injured behind.
Hundreds of Afghanis penetrate into Iran illegally through the Pakistan-Iran border and are often detained or killed in firing in similar incidents.
