The Lahore High Court has stopped the implementation of a notification for the collection of petroleum development levy on LPG.
The Lahore High court resumed hearing the case against collection of the petroleum development levy on LPG. During proceedings today LPG companies maintained that the collection of petroleum development levy will increase the price of LPG.
In light of the request, Justice Aisha Malik has barred enforcement of the notification that ordered collection of the Petroleum Development Levy and has issued notices to OGRA and the Federal Government for the 28th of February.
