The Sindh High Court has set a 10-day deadline for the appointment of the opposition leader in the Sindh Assembly.
The SHC heard a petition filed by PML-F leader Jam Madad Ali which stated that notification for appointing Nusrat Sehr Abbasi as the opposition leader was not being issued.
The advocate general informed the two-member bench hearing the case that the speaker of provincial assembly was also the acting governor and more time should be afforded to him.
The court stated if the notification is not issued in 10 days then decision will be made by the court.
