The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) pleaded anti-narcotics court to grant ten days extension to present the challan of the accused in ephedrine case on Friday.

Federal Minister of Textiles Makhdoom Shahabuddin was also present in the hearing.

While talking to the media after the hearing, his counsel Rasheed Sheikh said that if an accused becomes an approver, he remains an accused.

He questioned why the former director general health Jumma Khan and the owner of pharmaceutical company Rizwan Ahmed did not appear in the court, adding that ANF itself was involved in what is happening with the case and the investigation.
