Blast before time: SHO escapes attack in Karachi

A bomb detonation before time in Karachi’s Hawks Bay road early Monday saved a police officer who was allegedly the terrorists’ target in the planned attack, a private TV channel reported.

According to the reports, Maripur police station’s SHO was target of the attack that only slightly damaged a police vehicle and no human casualties were reported.

Police alleged that they were targeted for talking against the target killers. Three kilograms of explosive material was used in the blast.
