Police recovered on Thursday the body of a 16 year-old girl from Bund Road, Nijatpura area of Lahore. According to details, residents found a suspicious bag and informed Islampura police, which reached the spot and found the body of a girl, dressed in a jeans and a shirt, from the bag. “The deceased was poisoned and later dumped near the Bund Road,” a police official said. The body was taken to a hospital to fulfil medico-legal requirements.
