The government of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has added a new chapter to the country’s history by completing its five-year constitutional term.
Sindh Minister for Law Muhammad Ayaz Soomro said this on Wednesday.
He said during the period the PPP-led coalition government successfully faced every challenge and kept the democratic process on the track. The minister said it proved that PPP was a democratic party which was popular among the masses. He pointed out that it also strengthened the provinces through the 18th constitutional amendment. Ayaz Soomro said President Asif Ali Zardari transferred his power to the parliament. He said tens of thousands of the youth were provided employment in the country.
